Wilda Joyce Hunt

Wilda “Bill” Joyce Hunt, 89, of Cleveland, Tennessee and formerly of both Lawrenceburg and Nashville, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2019 in a local healthcare facility. She was a previous member of the Acklen Avenue Church of Christ in Nashville, and a member of the Central Church of Christ in
Cleveland. She worked as a nurse in various hospitals in the Nashville area. She was a beloved tour guide in Nashville for 25 years. She was a favorite of country music fans and stars from all over the world. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Bobby “Rex” Hunt; parents, Charles and Georgia “Vera” Bailey; brothers and sister, William Bailey, Joe Bailey, Jimmy Bailey and Ruth Bailey Hughes.

She is survived by her sons and their spouses, Randy and Paige Hunt of Walland, and Alan and Stephanie Hunt of Cleveland, Tennessee; grandchildren and their spouses, Charley and Heather Hunt, Brooke and Rob Liles, and Tanner and Maria Hunt; and great-granddaughter, Josephine Hunt.

A private service will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
