Sibyle Dixon

Sibyle Joann Kincaid Dixon, 83, a native and longtime resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2020 at a local hospital.  She was an avid animal lover and an excellent southern cook.  Sibyle also loved spending time on the area lakes and rivers.  She was of the Church of Christ faith. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Calvin Kincaid and Stella Mae Patterson Kincaid; and five siblings.                              .

Survivors include her children, Linda Headrick of Varnell, GA, Angela Dixon and Cindy (Tod) Eaton, all of Johnson City, Ricky Dixon of Cleveland and Beverly Turner of Chattanooga; twelve grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister, Joyce Howard of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Syble’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 12, 2020 in the chapel of Serenity of Cleveland Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Lee Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
