Mercedes Lobo Zavala

Mercedes Zavala had many great attributes. At a young age she had a vocation for religion.  One can say, she devoted her life to preaching the word of God.  Whenever there was a family struggle, she would always read and share passages from the Bible for guidance and strength.  Her faith in God was so strong that she would perpetually attend and abundantly volunteer her time to The Kingdom Hall. 

Mercedes Zavala's greatest gift was her loving and caring personality.  Her unbreakable resolve helped her raise 10 children and 20 grandchildren.  Not once did she ever give up on anyone or on anything that was stressful or difficult.  In fact, that was when she was most calm and persevered with a smile on her face.  And so on this day, as we honor Mercedes Zavala’s life and legacy, we find ourselves thankful and committed to emulating her devoted nature, her unyielding inner strength, her lightheartedness and her genuine love for her family.
