Mary Ann Hall

Mary Ann Hall, 73, of Cleveland, passed away, Saturday, June 6, 2020 in a Chattanooga hospital.

She was born February 8, 1947 in Champaign, IL to Charles and Bina Mary Ann Hall. Mary Ann was born in the same year as her older brother, Jack and his wife Sharon were married.

She lived her early life in Gibson City, IL and attended grade and high schools there. She graduated from Gibson City High School and then studied at the Art Institute in Chicago.

She used her talents to pursue a career in photo finishing for professional photographers. Where her career took her from Bloomington, IL to Appleton, WI, to Hendersonville, TN to Cleveland, TN. She also produced a portfolio of paintings, and photographic art.

Mary Ann was a very compassionate loving person with a care giving nature that was shown at an early age. As a teenager she was one of the caregivers for her ill mother following the death of her father. She continued to show this love to others her entire life.  She loved people, animals, and nature.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jack Hall; sister Linda Hall and niece, Lisa Johnson.

She is survived by her brother, Charles (Loretta) Hall; sister in law, Sharon Hall; five nieces, two nephews, twenty-two great-nieces and great-nephews, twenty-one great-great nieces and great-great nephews, and two great-great-great nephews; close friend, Cheryl Hooks and wife, Michele Lively. 

She will be laid to rest with her life partner of 50 years, Patricia Dickson at Park Hill Cemetery in Bloomington, IL. Private family services will be held due to “Covid-19” restrictions.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
