Kenneth Price

March 8, 1932 — August 14, 2020

     Kenneth Price, 88, of Cleveland passed away Friday, August 14, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born March 8, 1932 in Englewood, Tennessee to the late Arle and Carrie Price. Upon his high school graduation, he served in the United States Navy Reserve from 1951-1959. He continued his career as an electrician and retired after 42 years of service from DuPont. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Irene Coburn, Christene Wilson, Dolores Masengill, Reba McGinnis, Frances Johns; brothers, J. B. Price and Hugh Price. Kenneth loved fishing and farming, helping others and was like a big brother to all. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Mary Price; sisters, Betty Faye Wampler of Springfield, Misouri, Ouida (Jim) Middleton of Englewood; brother, Billy Ray (Judy) Price of Athens; daughter, Patricia Price of Cleveland; son, Michael Price of Englewood; grandson, Matthew Hester of Chattanooga; granddaughter, Micha Crumly of Cleveland; great-grandson, Austin Geren of Cleveland; great-granddaughter, Milley Geren of Cleveland, and 3 great-great-grandchildren along with other loving family and friends.

Funeral services will be Monday, August 17, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 7619 Blue Springs Road, Cleveland with Pastor Steve Huff officiating. Interment will follow in Ooltewah Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
