June Reed Stephens

June Reed Stephens, 96, of Niota went home to meet her Heavenly Father on Thursday, September 24, 2020. June was the daughter of the late Sam and Dora Billings Reed and sister of the late Fern Anderson. She was a faithful member of Mt. Harmony Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school for 50 years. She retired from Mayfield Dairy Farms as a state certified lab technician after 30 years.

June is survived by her son, J. Reed Stephens and his wife Brenda of Niota, daughter, Darlene Williams and her husband Randall of Englewood; grandson, Jayson Stephens and his wife Aymi; great-grandson, Jaykob and great-granddaughter, Ayla of Ten Mile; nephew Kent Anderson and wife Jeanna; nephew Bryan Anderson of Knoxville, TN; great nieces McKenzie and Morgan of Hickory, NC.

To honor June’s wishes, the family will have a private interment in Mt. Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Stanley Hammonds officiating at a later date.
