Jeffery Dean Turnipseed

Jeffery "Dean" Turnipseed, age 56 of Rock Springs, Georgia passed away early morning on Saturday, August 3, 2019. He was born December 13, 1962 in Lafayette, Georgia to Cecil and Lorine Turnipseed. Dean was a man that was loved by many and had many talents. He was a carpenter by trade for most of his adult life, but also worked with his father in the past doing railroad work and building bridges. Dean is probably most well known around the area for playing music. He loved to pick guitar and could really be the life of a party when he started playing. Dean was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Randall Turnipseed.

Jeffery Dean Turnipseed is survived by his daughter, Brittany Tisdale and her husband, Clarence Tisdale; grandson, Clarence Tisdale, IV; sister, Pam McAllister; brother, Rickey Turnipseed; niece, Tessy Gray; nephew, Shaun McAllister; great-niece, Kendra; great-nephew Brennon, and many cousins and friends.  The family will be receiving guests on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Advantage Funeral Home, 1724 McCallie Avenue, Chattanooga from 3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Serenity of Cleveland Funeral Home.
