James D "J.D." Vincent, Jr.

James D. “JD” Vincent, Jr., 87 of Cleveland, TN passed away Friday, November 10th, 2023.

JD was born in Athens, TN but spent most of his life in the Cleveland area. He was a member of Bellefounte Baptist Church and a Masonic Lodge in Cleveland. JD also served in the National Guard, had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed hunting and woodworking.

JD was preceded in death by his parents, Denver and Ethel Bacon Vincent; sister, Mary Vincent Dailey; and brother, Carl Vincent.

Survivors include his girlfriend, Rosie Stanton; children: David (Teresa) Vincent, Johnny Vincent, Jeff Vincent, and Lisa (Mitch) Maddux; grandchildren: Courtney Johnston, Skylar Murphy, Piper Kolnik, Jake Vincent, Kari Claubough, Lily Maddux, Katelyn Delmotte, Justin Kennedy, and Codey Maddux; brother, Floyd Vincent; several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and mother of his children, Mary Katherine Gamble.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, November 16th, 2023from 6-8pm in the Bellefounte Baptist Church at 132 Bellefounte Rd. NE Cleveland, TN 37312.
