Howard Lamar Foster Jr.

Howard, known as Lamar to family, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021, with his daughter Tracy by his side. He lived in Apison for 45 years and was a graduate of UTC, with Industrial Engineer degree. He worked with Farmers Chemical until he retired and then continued to work as a consultant with WR Grace & Company for many years.  He was also a licensed electrician. He volunteered as an EMT with Collegedale Ambulance service and a volunteer as a police reserve officer with the City of Collegedale. He loved horses and was avid Nascar fan. He had a servant’s heart and helped any one in need.

He is preceded in death by his wife Carol and his parents, Howard Foster Sr. and Minnie Lee Foster.

He is survived by daughter, Tracy Mills (Robert); his nephew, Bill Sue III; brother, Robert Foster; sisters, Wanda Johnson, Betty Sue; grandchildren, Brian Mills, Tamara Mills; five great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.

There will be no funeral home visitation. There will a memorial service at a later date.
