Hilda Drymon Blackwelder

Hilda C. Blackwelder, 73, of Athens, passed away on Wednesday, August 5th, 2020 at her home.

She was a native of Sarasota, FL and a longtime resident of Bradenton, FL before moving to Athens in 2006. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Blackwelder and two sons, Leslie Blackwelder and William Blackwelder Sr.

Survivors include her sons Don (Tammy) McCourt of Ocala, FL, Stanley Blackwelder of Athens, and Billy Blackwelder of Athens. Her mother Evelyn Drymon of Athens and siblings John (Cindy) Drymon of Arcadia, FL, Marvin (Susie) Drymon of Sarasota, FL, and Ronnie (Kathy) Drymon of Arcadia, FL. She also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

No visitation of family and friends will be held.

Graveside service will be Sunday, August 9th at 10:30 am at South Liberty Cemetery in Athens, TN.
