Deborah Parker Troy

Deborah “Bunny Lady” Troy, 67, passed away October 22, 2020. She loved nature, camping and working with animals. Particularly working to rehabilitate animals and helping people. She worked at Reflections riding and Arboretum nature center and Mountain Hospital for animals, where she specialized in the rehabilitation of bunnies. She was giving of herself to help animals and people, fulfilling a wish by donating critical organs that will help three people have better lives.   

She is preceded in death by her parents, Matthew and Jane Troy; and her nephew, Matthew Chandler.

Deborah is survived by her son, William A. Merkle III of Soddy Daisy; granddaughter, Kenna Marie Merkle of Chattanooga; sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Bob Chandler; niece, Beth Chandler all of Dalton, Georgia.
