David Darrell Linder, Jr

David "Darrell" Linder, Jr. age 68 of Athens, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2020 at his home.  He was the son of David Lee Linder, Sr. and Louise M. Moore..

Darrell is preceded in death his wife Evelyn Imogene Abernathy Linder; and one daughter Brooke White; two brothers. Rodney Moore and Vincent Moore ; three sisters, Loretta Moore, Carla Moore and Rebecca Jenkins.

He is survived by many children, grandchildren; three brothers, John M Linder of Athens, Condon Moore of Knoxville, and Kenneth Moore of Sweetwater; six sisters, Latricia Moore and Phyllis Moore of Knoxville, Drusilla Johnson, Uneeda Paschal and Flesia Moore (Allan Sanders) , all of Sweetwater, and Pamela Cansler of Chattanooga. There are several nieces, nephews, and friends also surviving.

Due to the COVID-19 regulations set by the CDC of no more than 10 people gathering at a time, the family will have a private graveside at Hammond Cemetery.  

Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Etowah is in charge of the arrangements.
