Connie Elaine Patterson

Connie Elaine Patterson, 59, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday morning, June 7, 2020 at a local healthcare facility.  She was born in St. Petersburg, FL on September 17, 1960.  Connie was a veteran of the United States Air Force.  She was a caretaker for her mother, Florence and was the best Nana in the world, teacher and homeschooler to her grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Maggie and Raymond Patterson and Charles and Hildred Owen; and brother, Michael Patterson.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her Nana, Winifred “Bunny” Trundley; parents, Charles Patterson, Carole Patterson and Florence Owen; five siblings, Bob Patterson, Scott (Bonnie) Patterson, Nancy Newman, Terrie Newman, and Sara (Bob) Burke; her aunt, Bonita Laska; three children, Jason Catudal, Danielle (Emmanuel) Buteau, and Jennette (Argelio) Samayoa; three grandchildren, Rosie Karim Buteau, Dominique Diaz and Alexander Samayoa; and nieces, nephews and numerous other extended family members and special friends.

The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2020 in the chapel of Serenity of Cleveland Funeral Home with Emmanuel Buteau officiating.  Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.

Her family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
