Brittney Wearner

Brittney Erin Wearner was born November 10th, 1988, died February 8th, 2019. She was preceded in death by her mother, Carla (Thompson) Wearner in 2015. She is survived by her father & step-mother, Neal & Nancy Wearner; her brother, Todd Wearner; her sister & brother-in-law, Jenny & Ivan Byrd; her nieces & nephews, Maya, Elliot, David & Henry Byrd; along with many loving friends, and her supportive boyfriend, Bill Lewis. 

Brittney enjoyed creating & crafting, spending uncountable hours sewing quilts, clothing & purses, knitting & crocheting, hand-making jewelry and more. Another artistic outlet for Brittney was hair & makeup, making new looks for herself and others. Her endless creativity will be missed. She was also a loving Fur-Mom to many cats over the years, as well as two special dogs more recently, Joleen & Bubbles. 

Brittney’s beautiful spirit & joy for life, despite her many challenges, will live on in all those who love her. 

Celebration of Life will be held Saturday February 16th at the Collegedale Memorial Park at 3:30 PM in Collegedale, Tennessee.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to McKamey Animal Shelter (Chattanooga, TN) or National Living Donor Assistance Center.
