Agnes Maria Lupo

January 13, 1933 — September 27, 2021

Agnes Maria Lupo, 88, of Cleveland, Tennessee. Passed away peacefully into eternal life at her home on Monday, September 27, 2021 from and extended illness.

Agnes was a devoted daughter, sister, Wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends, cooking wonderful Italian meals, playing card games and sewing.

Until her health declined, she was an active member of First Lutheran Church, Cleveland TN. Agnes, her sister Paula Justesen, and Shirley Lovelace started the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) at First Lutheran in 1996. They produced handmade quilts and participated in fundraisers for those in need.

Agnes was preceded in death by her beloved Husband of 60+years, James V. Lupo Jr.;her Sister, Paula Justesen; Brothers, Alfred Justesen & August Justesen.

She is survived by her Sister, Helen Justesen of Greenlawn NY; Brother John Justesen of Del Ray Beach, FL; Daughter & Son-in-law Jane and Jay Krider of Reno, NV; Son and Daughter-in-law, James and Sharon Lupo of Cleveland, TN; Daughter and Son-in-law, Angela and Arthur Farrell Jr. of Niskayuna, NY; Granddaughters, Jenna (Daniel) Bell of Huntsville, AL; Karissa (Kyle) Ferguson of Memphis, TN, Kayla (Zach) Bryant of Nashville, TN, Jennifer Krider of Vacaville, CA, and Stefani Farrell of Niskayuna, NY; Great-Grandsons Jude & Bradley Ferguson, Cooper & Henry Bell.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Agnes’ wonderful caregivers, Jennifer, Lisa, Kari, Tina, Sara and many other wonderful ladies throughout the year. A special thanks also goes out to Kindred Hospice Care of Cleveland, TN.
