Ricky Lee Chrisman

Ricky Lee Chrisman, age 57, of Athens, passed away Monday morning, February 29, 2016 , at his residence. Born January 7, 1959, to Wanda Rose ”Chip” Balckwell Chrisman and the late Jesse Chrisman, he was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was of the Baptist faith. Ricky enjoyed diving, metal detecting, turkey shooting, and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his father, He is preceded in death by his brother, Stephen Labron Chrisman.

Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Terry Morgan Chrisman; daughters, Sabrina Davis and husband Troy of Cleveland, Heather Dampier of Cleveland, Amber Chrisman of Athens; grandchildren, Destiny Roberts, Cassius Roberts, and Christian Davis; sister –in-law and husband Jessica and David Henderson of Georgia; niece, Miranda Chrisman of Calhoun; nephews, Stephen and Matthew Chrisman of Calhoun, Blake Chrisman of Knoxville, James Shultz of Etowah ; great nephew, Landon Shultz of Etowah; special friends, Michael Patterson of Cleveland, Harold   Bragg of Athens, and Paul and Libby Rue of Athens. Several Aunts, Uncles, and other extended family members and friends also survive.

At Ricky’s request, there will be no formal visitation or services.
