Youble Mae Arnwine Carroll

Youble Mae Arnwine Carroll, age 77, of Athens, passed away Wednesday morning, March 23, 2016 at her residence. Born on April 1, 1938 in Meigs County to the late Emerson D. and Sadie Mae Kirkland Arnwine, she spent a majority of her life in McMinn County and was a member of Parkway Baptist Church. She never met a stranger and had a deep unconditional love for her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Carroll, Jr. and great-granddaughter, Teresa

She is survived by her children, William Earl Carroll III “Jr” and wife Karen of Athens, Randall Carroll and wife Teresa of Etowah, Cherryl Redmond and husband Mike of Niota, John Russell “Rusty” Carroll and wife Tracy of Athens, Melissa McJunkins of Athens and Steve Carroll of Athens; and brother, J.B. Arnwine and wife Jewel of Calhoun. Seventeen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren along with several other extended family members also survive.

A Celebration of Life and Home going for Mrs. Carroll will be held at 8p.m. Friday, March 25, 2016 from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home with Brother Pete Mullins officiating.

Family and friends will assemble at 12 noon Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the funeral home and proceed to McMInn Memory Gardens for the 1p.m committal service. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers and a White Dove Release ceremony will conclude the services.

The family will receive friends from 5-8p.m. Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
