Robert Lee McKheean

Robert Lee McKheean, age 59, of Athens, passed away at his home on Monday, May 9, 2016. He was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and spending time with family.

He was the son of the late Bobby Lee McKheean.

He is survived by his mother, Lucille Ratledge McKheean, two children, Robbie Lee McKheean and Shirley Lucille South, both of Athens; six grandchildren; two brothers, Dewayne McKheean of Athens, Steve McKheean (Carolyn) of Englewood; three sisters, Debbie McLawhorn (Gerald) of Athens, Mary Chrisman (Perry) of Englewood, and Karen Hughes (Tommy) of Athens. There are several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members also surviving.

Services for Mr. McKheean are Thursday, May 12, 2016 with a Graveside Service at 3:30 p.m. in the Cedar Grove Cemetery with Brother Don Harris officiating.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 1-3 p.m. prior to the graveside service on Thursday in the Chapel of Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
