Teresa Kay Duncan

Teresa Kay Duncan, age 55, of Clarkton, MO died Sunday, May 15 at her residence. A native of Natchitoches, LA and a long time resident of Clarkton, MO., she was the daughter of the late Robert and Nora Jordon and was of the Baptist faith.

She is also preceded in death by her late husband, David A. Duncan; sister-in law Deborah Cagle; and a very special mother-in-law, Darlene McConnell Duncan.

Survivors include one son, Matt Duncan of Sweetwater; two daughters, Alyson Duncan of Athens, and Mandy (William) Whittaker of Sweetwater; two grandsons and five granddaughters; a very special father and mother-in-law, David H. and Violet Duncan of Etowah; and a very special friend Audrey Warner; five brothers and one sister. There are several nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends also surviving.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2016 from the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Athens.

The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 p.m. on Thursday in the Chapel of Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Etowah.
