Angelia JoAnn Stephens-Kennedy

Angel Stephens Kennedy, age 44, of Etowah, passed away Wednesday morning, August 15, 2016, at her residence. A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County she was a member of Woodward Ave Church of GOD. She enjoyed camping, playing with her animals , and spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Jacquelyn Stephens.

 Angel is survived by her father, Dennis Stephens and wife Fran of Winter Haven, Florida; brothers and sisters-in-law, Greg and Fashion Stephens of Knoxville and Chad and Lisa Stephens of Cleveland. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members and close friends also survive.

 A celebration of Life and Home going for Angel will be held at 11a.m. Saturday, August 20, 2016 from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home with Brother Richard Bowers officiating. Interment will follow in Green Hill Cemetery with C.J. Sharp, Jamie Stephens, Keith Swafford, Jason Swafford, Brandon Swafford, and Mike Bonnett serving as pallbearers.  A dove release ceremony will conclude the services.

 The family will receive friends from 5 -8p.m. on Friday, August 19, 2016 at the funeral home.
