Bruce Junior Jones

 Bruce Junior Jones, age 63 of Decatur, passed away  December 14, 2016 at home. Born on March 18, 1954 in Sweetwater, to the late Johnny Bruce and Daphne Freeman Jones, he had lived in McMinn and Meigs County for most of his life. He attended Union Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Nelson.

He is survived by his daughter, Tonya Burrell  of Englewood; granddaughter, McKenzie “ Tater” Burrell of Englewood; sisters, Emma Howard and husband Pete, Mae Coleman and husband Donald, Rose Thurman and husband Lonnie, and Jo Ann Roderick and husband Eddie, all of Decatur. Several nieces, nephews, and other extended family also survive.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
