Billie Frances Cox

Billie Frances Wright Cox, age 75 of Englewood, passed away Nov 6, 2017 at her home.  She was born in Decatur and lived in McMinn County since 1978, and was a faithful member of Dixon Avenue Baptist Church in Englewood.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles L. and Mary Belle Holland Wright; her husband, Buddy Cox; two brothers Buddy Wright, and Terry Wright; Sister-n-law Norma Wright.

Billie is survived by two children, Sharon Renee’ Brock of Englewood, and Michael Edward Cox and wife Jennifer of White House, TN; three grandchildren, Hunter Brock of Etowah, Gavin Cox and Duncan Cox both of Whitehouse, TN; one sister, Elizabeth Correll of Athens; two brothers, Earl Wright and wife Shirley of Decatur, and Frank Wright of Decatur.  Several nieces, nephews, other extended family members and numerous friends also survive.

The funeral service will be held at 7.p.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2017 from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home with Rev. Allan Watson officiating.

Interment will be held 10.a.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at McMinn Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends Tuesday prior to the service from 4-7 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. 

Memorial contributions may be made to Dixon Avenue Baptist Church in Englewood, TN., in lieu of flowers.
