Sandra Lea Craven

Sandra L. Craven of Tellico Plains, TN passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at her home.  She was born on June 6, 1943 in Terre Haute, IN to William and Evelyn (Robinson) Docherty.  She was raised by her maternal grandparents, Roy and Marian Robinson.

Sandy married Howard Michael Craven on June 23, 1961 in Oakland, IL.  He survives.  She and Mike moved from Oakland to Florida where they resided for several years before permanently moving to their home in the mountains.  She loved walking the trails and helping Mike build their home.

Also surviving are their two sons, Michael Craven of Oakland, IL and John Craven of Tellico Plains, TN; grandsons, Tyler Craven, Ryan Craven and Joseph Craven; half brother Joe Ray (Jan) Morris of St. Louis, MO; brother in law, James (Connie) Craven of Oakland, IL; and nieces and nephews.

There will be no formal services per Sandy’s request.
