Mary Louise Parrott

Mary Louise Coleman Parrott, age 83, of Englewood, passed away at her home on Sunday, March 25, 2018.  She was a native of Akron, Ohio having spent the last 29 years in Englewood.  Mary was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.  She loved spending time with her family especially with her grandbabies and great-grandbabies.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Robert Coleman and Elizabeth Mae McColley Coleman Houston; husband Buddy E. Parrott; step-father, James “Edd” Houston; sister Lina M. Houston, brother, James E. Houston and son-in-law, Johnny Morgan.

She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Parrott Morgan of Englewood; grandson, Jacob Morgan of Englewood; granddaughter & grandson-in-law, Victoria & Dominique Holmes of Athens; great-granddaughter Ariana Holmes, which was the “light of her life”; sister, Geraldine Carder of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; sister & brother-in-law Carolyn and Dale Adkins of Akron, OH; brother, Robert Houston of Bryan, OH; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Mark Hensley officiating with interment to follow at McMinn Memory Gardens.  Pallbearers will be Jacob Morgan, Dominique Holmes, Jay Elliot, Jason Parrott, Kelvin Jamerson and Dustin Jack with Wayne Parrott as honorary pallbearer.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
