Kenny Edward Stewart

Kenny E. Stewart, age 69, of Etowah, passed away on Saturday morning April 7, 2018, at Kindred Hospital in Chattanooga. The son of the late Proyce and Edith Stewart, he was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County and was of the Christian faith. Kenny loved watching Fox News and loved President Donald Trump.  He was a talented musician and enjoyed singing with his boys and spending time with his family.

 In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Terry and Mary Edith Stewart, and Ronnie and Pauline Stewart; and an infant sister, Pamela Stewart.

Kenny is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Elaine Shugart Stewart of Etowah; sons , Jimmy Stewart of Athens, Jeremy(Deanna) Stewart of Englewood, and Jason (Lacey) Stewart of Etowah’ grandchildren, Jalynn, Joseph, Carly, Luke, and Tilly; brother-in-law, Stephen ( Rena’) Stewart of Etowah; Uncle, Arlie Joe ( Linda) Sneed of Etowah; niece, Shelby Stewart of Etowah; nephew, Josh Brown of Etowah; lifelong friends, Tony Land, Daniel talent, and Brother David Davis. Several extended family and friends also survive.

The family wishes to express their sincerest appreciation to the management and staff of Kindred Hospital for their compassionate care. 

 A   graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10. 2018 at New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Brother Louis Rouse and Brother David Davis officiating

  The family will receive friends from 12noon until 2p.m on Tuesday at the funeral home.
