Donna Gayle Tindle

Donna Gayle Lancaster-Tindle, age 54, of Etowah, TN, passed through Heaven’s Gates Tuesday, September 25, 2018.  Born in Monroe, LA she has spent the last 16 years in McMinn County.

She was a wife, mother, grandmother, friend and confidant. She was well known as a “Jill of All Trades”.  She worked as a Nurse, Police Officer, Deckhand, Truck Driver, and Dog Breeder.  She had many hobbies and interests which included travel and jazz. She treasured spending time with family and friends. Her passion for her dogs was extraordinary as they were an extension of the family to her. Her faith was important to her and in her last years though she became unable to attend members of the church would visit with her regularly.

She was predeceased in death by her loving husband of 22 years Jimmie Wayne Tindle; father, Jimmy Wayne Lancaster; and brother, Michael Wayne Lancaster.  

She is survived by; mother, Nancy Campbell of Charleston, TN; children, Erika Lancaster - Gould and her husband Jonathon of Etowah, TN, Amanda Gayle Flory and husband Josh of Madisonville, TN, Christopher Lloyd Tindle and fiancée Laura of Etowah, TN, Sandra Kimball and husband Willie of Bascom, FL;   grandchildren, Arwen, Nicholas, Isabel, Dakota, Pattrick, Jayla, Lillian, Karter, Madison and Abbygayle; goddaughter, Katy Bug Angel; close friends, Ralph Frank and Tommy Joe Carter; her beloved companions dogs, Kisses and Skittles. Several other nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends also survive.  In her final years the family came together to help care for her with the assistance of Hospice of Chattanooga to ensure she had all that she needed. The family wants to thank everyone who cared for her and offer their greatest and warmest gratitude.
