Gerald Jay Vincent, age 85, a resident of Cleveland passed away Thursday, December 10, 2015 at a local healthcare facility. He was a native of Detroit, he spent the last six years in Cleveland. Gerald was of the Protestant faith. He enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Glenn and Ethel Fitzpatrick Vincent and six siblings.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Shirley Jean Henderson Vincent; his five children; Linda (Richard) Hand of Cleveland, TN; Gerald J. Vincent Jr. of Cleveland, TN; Dennis Vincent and wife Darlene of California; Diane Emery of Cleveland, TN; Tammy Worthy of Cleveland, TN; nine grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, one great-grandchild. Several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members also survive.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
