Benjamin “Chief” Saylor, age 69, a two year resident of Crandall, GA passed away early Saturday morning, August 20, 2016.

“Chief” was a well-known antiques dealer and former resident of Cleveland, TN, where he lived for two decades prior to moving to North Georgia. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Georgia Saylor; infant son, Benjamin Saylor; sister, Kathy Buell.

He was survived by his wife of over 40 years, Iva Saylor; children, Chris and April Saylor, Keith Saylor, Genie Greene, Zane and Marian France, George and Cindy France; grandchildren, Chris and Kasey Saylor, Dustin Saylor, Chelsey Saylor, Christian Saylor, Vanessa Greene, Angela Miles, Evelyn France, Valerie France, George France, Destin France, Devyn France; several great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; sisters, Alice Watson, Irene Daily, Bea Lankford.

A Gathering of Friends celebrating Chief's life will be held on Thursday, August 25 at 7:00 p.m. at Saylor Family Auction, 3065 Tennga Gregory Rd., Crandall, Georgia.

The family will have a graveside service on Friday, August 26 at 1:00 at Simpson Cemetery in Harlan, KY.

The family is being served locally by Grissom- Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
