Kevin Miller

March 15, 1970 — November 9, 2016

Kevin Eugene Miller, age 46, a lifelong resident of Bradley County passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 after a valiant two year battle with cancer.  Initially given a less than 2% “two year” survival rate, he was very proud that he beat those odds.

He was a member of the NRA, Bradley County Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association and was an assistant Public Defender for Bradley County since 2007.

He had a law degree from Washington & Lee College of Law.

Kevin enjoyed cooking for family and friends and was issued the title of “THE Grill Master.” He was a huge fan of the Nashville Predators. Kevin also loved spending time with his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Miller.

Kevin will be greatly missed by his wife, Heather Miller; his mother, Louise Miller; his grandmother, Rosemary Poston, all of Cleveland, TN; his brother, Eric Miller and wife, Tabatha of Cleveland, TN.; his twin sister, Karen Perez and husband, Victor of Cleveland, TN; his nieces and nephews, Adam Miller, Anna Miller, Ashley Perez, and Noah Perez all of Cleveland, TN; his chosen niece, Jordan Starnes.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Grissom- Serenity Funeral Home with the Honorable Dwaine Thomas and Pastor Russell Coffey officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, November 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Michael Swisher officiating and Steve Green, Dwaine Thomas, Victor Perez, Eric Miller, Eric Morgan and Steve Parker serving as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Anchor Point Foundation in Cleveland, TN. at 2715 Red Hill Valley Road SE in Kevin’s honor.

Grissom Serenity Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
