Heather Romaniuk

March 14, 1951 — April 8, 2017

Heather Mary Romaniuk, born 3-14-51 passed peacefully surrounded by her family as the sun rose the morning of April 8th. She was born in Ottawa, Ontario Canada and her favorite place in the world was Bennett Lake. She was an avid reader, fantastic cook, had a great eye for design, and enjoyed being part of many social clubs with her friends.

She joins in heaven her mother and father, Ethel & Raphael Raby, and her favorite Aunt Rita Jourdain. She leaves behind Alex Romaniuk, her loving and dedicated husband of 42 years; her three children, Shannon Reynolds, Erin Pendleton, and Jeff Romaniuk who were her greatest joy and accomplishment; her favorite son in-laws, Mike Reynolds and Burke Pendleton; her grandchildren, Sam and Allison Reynolds, who knew her as Gigi; and Boscoe, her granddog & companion.

Many family will miss her including: her brother and sister in-law Bruce and Francine Raby, Sandy and Eugene Buchkowsky, Eugene and Camille Romaniuk, Joanne Chambers, and Anne and Gordon Haddow, as well as numerous close cousins, many special nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephew. Her love, kindness and friendship will be missed by many special friends and family in Cleveland, TN., Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia, Canada.

She was a strong and stoic woman who fought many difficult health battles over the years. A special thank you to the countless medical staff who cared and supported her including: Tennova of Cleveland, CHI Memorial Hospital, Bradley Healthcare & Rehab Center, and Guardian Home Health.

A requiem mass will be held on Wednesday, April 12th, 3:30pm at St. Thérèse Of Lisieux Catholic Church. A celebration of her life will follow in the church hall at 5:00pm.
