Dorothy Marie Barker

It is with great sadness that the family of Dorothy Marie Clingan Barker, of Forest Park, Georgia and formerly of Cleveland, TN, announce that she went to her heavenly home Monday, October 2, 2017 at the age of 73 years.

She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, friend, and will be missed by all.

She was proceeded in death by her precious husband, Roy Lake Barker; parents, Joe Wheeler Clingan and Dora Lea Gillette Clingan; siblings, James Clingan, Bernice Filyaw, Clifford "Joe" Clingan and Luther "Tutt" Clingan.

Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her children, VerLinda and Illya Allman, and Ginger and Ruben Marin.

She will also be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Ruben M Barker and Angelica L Marin.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 3:00 p.m, in the chapel of Serenity of Cleveland Funeral Home, 3010 N Ocoee St. Cleveland, TN.  Interment will follow in the family plot at Lee Cemetery in McDonald, TN.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
