Raymond Dennis Sanders

Raymond Dennis Sanders, 64, of Cleveland, TN, passed away at his home on Monday, January 1, 2018.

He was born April 14, 1953 in Cleveland, TN to Denn Charles and Peggy Shoemaker Sanders.  Raymond loved to fish, hunt and be outdoors and was a member of the NRA.  He was of the Baptist faith.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Denn Charles and Peggy Shoemaker Sanders.

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Margaret Sanders; his son, Michael Sanders of Cleveland; brothers, Larry Sanders of Cleveland, Kenneth Sanders of Chickamauga, GA; sister, Shirley McAmis (Tim) of Cleveland; and extended family members, Malaina, Kaylin, Anikin, and Kendell.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2018 at the Chapel of Serenity of Cleveland Funeral Home.
 

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105 or to the Ronald McDonald House of Chattanooga, 200 Central Avenue, Chattanooga, TN 37403.
