Norman O'Neal Short

Norman O’Neal Short, 70, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 at his home.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was stationed on an aircraft carrier off of the Vietnam coast during the Vietnam War.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Short; son, Jeffrey Short; father, Robert Short; and step father, Tom Schultz. 

Survivors include his mother, Lula Schultz; son, Tim Mull; step son, Tommy Dale Sharp; half-sisters, Lisa Wells, Angela Tallent and Sharon Whittle; half-brother, Tom Schultz, Jr., and six grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, February 12, 2018 at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.

Serenity of Cleveland Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of the arrangements.
