Doris M Hodge

Doris Merneva Hodge, 92, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at a local health care facility.

She was born June 2, 1926 in Chickamauga, GA to Horace and Myrtle Hodge. 

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Myrtle Wallen Hodge; daughter, Wanda Sutton; siblings, Katherine, Grace, Rena, Jean, Ann, Buddy, and Alfred.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda Hair and Sandra Garrett; brothers, Grady Hodge, Harold Hodge, Tommy Hodge; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.

The Funeral will be Friday, July 27, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Serenity of Cleveland Funeral Home with Jimmy Hodge officiating. Her pallbearers will be Randall Olin Hampton, Michael Hampton, Coby Hybarger, Doug Hudson, Jimmy Hodge and Lynn Hodge.  Randy Hampton will serve as honorary pallbearer.  Interment will be Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends from 5:00–9:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Serenity of Cleveland Funeral Home.
